SNOW!

We had our first snowfall of the season the other day. It wasn't a lot of snow, but as promised, I told the boys we could play outside when they got home from school. Little did I know the temps were going to warm up so much. We did manage to find a great hill at the neighbors that still had some snow and we went sledding for over an hour! We are going to have so much fun this winter, I can tell already!

The Blaze

One of the major Hudson Valley attractions for Fall is "The Blaze". With over 5,000 hand carved pumpkins created to make different scenes, it was quite a sight to see. The pictures don't even do it justice. There was a dinosaur area, witches brewing, a clock tower,  real working jack in the boxes, the zoo, behives, and a really cool tunnel of pumpkins at the end you walk through. The boys loved it! Definitely worth seeing! And, to top it all off, Westin was the "cookie of the week" in his classroom this week. You  may see him carrying "Chip" the 1st grade class stuffed animal in many of these pictures.

Halloween

Trick Or Treat! This year Hudson decided to be Batman and Westin was Link (from the Legend of Zelda). Each of the boys really seemed to get into character!
