Delafield Pond

West Point has a great little pond with water slides for the kids to play in throughout the summer. This was our second time going, and I'll have to say, it seems to be the place to hang out. There is nothing better than hitting up "Delafield Pond" with some friends for a great day!

New Cadets

Being stationed at West Point, we have the opportunity to "sponsor" new cadets. Today was the new cadets first day of down time in 3 weeks! We had an ice cream social, and were fortunate enough to have a cadet who used to work at Cold Stone, so the sundaes turned out beautifully! A little bit of computer time, phone time and food was all they needed to get recharged for their upcoming field training. The cherry on top was Westin, showing the cadets his mad "Mario" skillz on the Wii!

We haven't really been up to much lately. Just hanging around the house, and loving every minute of it!

Congressional Baseball Game

Every couple of years the U.S. Congress sends a congressional delegation of "ball players" to play the faculty and staff from the U.S. Military Academy. This year, Matt was recruited to play on the team! The boys had fun watching Daddy on the big field and it brought back many memories for Mommy as well (seeing him in his uniform). Matt played great and the Army team won 12-2...silly congressmen...get back to work :)
