This has sure been a crazy week! Matt has had welcome home hero parades and many other things going on with his unit. He is easy to pick out in parades because as the commander, he is always in the front (finally)!
Matt's unit had their reflagging ceremony today from 1st Cavalry Division to 1st Armored Division. As you can see from the expression on Westin and Kenton's faces, they were thrilled to be there!
As the troops marched by, Westin waved at each and every one of them. It was as if he was saying hi to his best friends that he has known forever! It was adorable!
After the cermony, they allowed kids to go and pet the horses. Westin has been all about his animals at the house lately, and he LOVED being able to pet the horses! Now we are working on getting him to say "neigh, neigh".
