We had a wonderful Easter. Here are pictures of the boys Easter baskets. Hudson had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed basket, and Westin had a Caillou themed basket. The Easter Bunny is regretting the musical toys the boys received, but what can you do?
The kids were a little too young this year to color Easter eggs, but we decided to make some Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs. We molded Rice Krispie Treats into egg shapes (at least those Margarita glasses we registered for at our wedding are finally getting used for something). Then we dipped them in melted chocolate and covered them with sprinkles. Voila.....Santa Claus gets cookies, the Easter Bunny gets Chocolate Covered Rice Krispie Treat Eggs!
After we finished making our Rice Krispie Treat Eggs, we had fun with more Easter festivities. There were ponies to ride and slides to go down! Of course, Westin wanted nothing to do with the ponies, but Hudson loved them. Westin decided he would stick to the slides!
The Easter Bunny was at preschool today. Westin wasn't so sure at first, but he warmed up to him. Hudson never warmed up, and will probably have nightmares of "The Bunny"
