Vacation Day 2

Just another day around the house. Today we went out on the boat. Hudson wasn't wild about his life jacket at first, but he got used to it and fell right to sleep. I swear Westin is a boater! He loves it out there in the Gulf. The dolphins swim right behind the boats. It's so neat to watch them in their natural habitat!

Pool Day 1

Let the vacation begin. We spent some time with Linda's mom last night. Then we continued down the road to my Dad and Linda's. We will be here until Wednesday, then it is off to my Mom and Tom's. Westin sure does LOVE the pool. He likes to wear his life jacket too! I will be posting a lot of pictures the next few weeks as we travel to visit all of our families, so stay tuned!

Unpacking

Unpacking challenges and realizations:
1. We have way too many things to put into a small kitchen.
2. The movers should have sent the toy boxes with all of the toys. We have toys with nothing to put them in (which leads into...)
3. Westin has WAY too many toys!
4. When you think you are done with boxes, you open the door to a new room which is full of them.
5. Moving is a lot of hard work and you have to remember to rest (according to Hudson, Westin and Rookie)

Our New House

After a week of packing, traveling, and transportation screwing everything up, we have finally made it to Atlanta! The boys were amazing in the car, and they LOVE the new house (even though we have nothing in it). Here are some pictues of how we rolled. Yes, that's a U-Haul with Matt's truck attached that we could not go over 55 mph. I thought it was going to take forever to get here, but we made it. Westin dropped a wooden block on Hudson's eye, hence the gash on his eyebrow, but then they loved on each other thinking...phew, we made it! Welcome Home!! Here are pictures of the outside. As soon as we get our stuff I will post some of the inside.
